Discipline

  • All pupils should be present at the assembly.
  • Punctuality, good behaviour, respect for authority, obedience, order, method in work are to be learnt and practiced by all. They are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school premises.
  • Loitering outside the classes during working hours and running, playing or shouting inside the school will not be allowed. The pupils should observe order and discipline both in the class and the place where other activities of the school are conducted. They should not sit in the teacher’s chair and on top of the desk.
  • Students marching to and from the place of assembly or from one classroom to another should do so in order and without the slightest noise under the guidance of the class leader.
  • They should behave amicably among themselves and should be polite to their classmates and be strictly obedient to the Teachers. They should realize that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for their general behavior outside. Any reported objectionable conduct outside the school on their part shall make them liable to disciplinary action.
  • They should wear school uniform. The school uniform must be clean and tidy. Student attending the class without uniform is liable to be sent back home.
  • Smoking and tobacco chewing are strictly prohibited.
  • Irregular attendance, indecency in word or act, insubordination to the Teachers or School Authorities, any kind of cheating or misconduct, even outside the school premises will justify suspension for specific period or immediate dismissal of a student.
  • No collective petition or complaint will be allowed.  Also the students are not suppose to hold meeting or raise subscription or promote any collective activity within the school premises without the written permission from the Head of the Institution.
  • Students are strictly prohibited from communicating with any outsiders during school hours without the permission of the Head of the Institution.
  • Gifts to the Teachers are not allowed.
  • Books, periodicals, pictures, photos and electronic gadgets not connected with the School work should not be brought to the School.  If found, they are liable to the confiscated.
  • Reading material issued from the School Library should be returned within the prescribed time limit.  Proper care of the School Library books and magazines used by them will have to be taken.
  • School or class educational excursions, competitions, picnics etc. will be the part of the school activities during which the students will not be allowed to act freely or go anywhere he or she likes to. Every student is expected to behave politely and follow the instruction given by the teacher in-charge.
  • Any student found damaging school property shall make good the damage done.
  • A child must look after his/ her own belongings. It is not advisable for a child to have money and/ or any other valuable articles with him/ her. The school will not accept any responsibility for things which are lost.
  • Students should not wear any jewellery to the school. Expensive item such as cameras, i-pods, mobile phones are not permitted in the school.  They will be confiscated if brought to the school.
  • Attendance at school functions and national days is compulsory.
  • Boys should have a military haircut. Girls must have appropriate haircut. Hair must not fall on forehead. Hair band is compulsory for girls. In case of long hair, girls must braid their hair in two plaits, tied with whiteribbons.
  • No child should leave the school premises without the permission of Headmaster/ Class Teacher.
  • No child will be excused from school activities unless a medical certificate is produced.
